The petition must be based on one of the reasons stipulated in the law, such as: • The emergence of documents that were not known at the time of the trial. • Forgery, fraud, or collusion affecting the ruling. • A procedural defect. • A judgment against someone who lacks legal standing or in the absence of someone who was not properly represented. • A contradiction in the ruling's operative part. • Or any other legal reason stipulated in the law. 3. Submission of the required documents and information. 4. Compliance with the legal deadline for filing the petition. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the legal deadline for filing the petition remains valid. 5. No guarantee of petition acceptance. Submitting the petition does not mean the court will accept the petition, as this is subject to the discretion of the competent judicial authority. 6.
